Research Suggest Vegetarians Smell Sexier Then Meat Eaters

As if you needed yet another reason to stop eating meat, there is some research that suggests that people who eat a vegetarian diet actually smell sexier.

The study also looked at how eating a diet full in fruits and vegetables can make your skin look better. Good looking skin is a subconscious signal for men and women. The increased vegetables can help your skin. Men like women who look like they are ovulating, and women like men who look/smell like they have high levels of testosterone.

Another interesting factor in the article is that they mention that women who were blind tested were asked to judge the "sexiness" of a mans scenet and they found that men who had not eaten meat for several days--it was two weeks in the study-- had a mnore positive reaction from the womenb.

Chloe Mortez Chooses Vegetarian Lifestyle

Another celeb has joined the ranks of the vegetarianism. It's a super popular dietary choice in Hollywood. Some of the most fit and hottest celebs are either vegan or vegetarians. Celebs such as Kate Hudson and Toby Maquire are vegetarians, and now Chloe is yet another name on the list. Her choice of dripping animal flesh is excellent as she can reach a whole new, and younger audience. She's very popular after her Neighbors, and Kick Ass movies. You can read a bit about her new lifestyle choice and her upcomming horror movie which is a remake of Suprisa.

The list of other celebs who have opted for vegetarian lifestyles include Adele, the pop singer Ariana Grande, and even Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage. There was a big article about the popularity of vegetarian lifestlyes in Hollywood back in November around Thanksgiving when HuffPo posted an article listing these and several others.

The variety of vegetarianism is cool because it shows the different body types. You have thin and trim, as well as well built muscular actors.

Veggie Burgers Getting More Popular

It used to be that veggie burgers were just for health fanatics and those who did not want to eat meat. Maybe they didn't want to kill animals, or maybe they had religious objections. The truth was that there was a very small percentage of people who didn't want to eat meat and an even smaller percentage of those people who wanted to eat veggie burgers.

The old veggie burgers, the ones that you found in California during the 1970s were not the best tasting. They were made with lentils or sprouts. But that changed. Over time people began to take more creative routes with their veggie burgers. Now you can find them in big chains that normally would only sell beef burgers.

Another move that shows that people who normally would scoff at veggie burgers are involved in creating really gourmet veggie burgers. Just recently the New York Times had a big piece on veggie burgers.

You have celeb chefs and other chefs who are in the kitchen at really nice restaurants and they are involved in making top quality veggie burgers. They might use mushrooms, lentils, quinoa, brown rice, or black beans. The choices of ingredients is endless, all it needs be is non-meat food.

Some Vegetarians Eat Meat When Drunk

A study came out and it said that up to a third of vegetarians eat meat when they are drunk.

The study was done in England. They asked close to 2000 volunteers who were vegetarians. The  most popular meat of choice was bacon, followed by fried chicken and then sausage.

This can be compared to people who breakdown and smoke when they are drunk. I'd say that those who eat meat when drunk are vegetarians who are likely following the diet for health reasons, and a bit of ethical reasons. If the resolve was strong enough I don't think that getting drunk would be enough to make them to eat meat. If someone doesn't think it is ethical to eat meat, getting drunk won't change that.

New York Bans Powdered Alcohol

The newest fad is powdered alcohol. It has gotten alot of attentuion because it is targeted at college age kids and it has the potential to be fatal. The politicans and health advocates who object to it claim that the problem is that kids might injest too much and suffer alcohol poisoning.

The idea of powdered alcohol is nothing new, in fact its been around for decades. However, it has never been marketed to the public this way. There is a fear that the people who make the mixture won't follow the directions properly and will make the concoction too strong.

Additionally, there is the fear that kids can sneak this around much easier than regular alcohol. It is a small packet that can fit in a pocket and be added to bottled water at any time.

There are several states that have already banned these substances, including New York. Groups such as MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving).

Schumer, the congresman from New York, is calling for nation wide legislation against this form of powdered alcohol.
